Designed to be a simple camera the Werra had a shutter release on top of the body next to a small plastic finger rest. A selenium light meter covered by a metal door and a viewfinder. On the right side of the camera is the sync for a flash.
Pull the protective lens cover off and all the controls can be found. In front of film advance ring is the speed and aperture rings followed by the ASA and DIN control then by a ring that decouples the interchangeable lens.
The Tessar 50mm 2.8 lens has the lens's shutter and the range focus adjustments ring, that focusing ring uses a front-cell movement making a lens move internally.
